A 50x70 cm pillowcase fits a rectangular pillow measuring 50 × 70 cm. 50x70 cm is the usual pillow size in Scandinavia. It is wider and shorter than the 40x80 cm common in Germany, and larger than 40x60 cm. You can choose between percale made of GOTS-certified organic cotton and satin made of certified organic cotton, both made in Portugal.
Does a 50x70 cm pillowcase fit my pillow?
Measure your pillow lying flat from seam to seam, or check the label. If it measures 50 cm by 70 cm, this is the right size: 50x70 and 70x50 are the same size; the order of the numbers makes no difference.
Some rectangular pillows measure 50x75 or 45x70 cm: check the dimensions before ordering, as these sizes are not exactly 50x70. In the UK and Ireland, standard pillowcases measure about 50 × 75 cm, so a 50x70 pillowcase is too short for a UK standard pillow. If your pillow is long and narrow, see the 40x80 cm pillowcase; if it is smaller, the 40x60 cm pillowcase. For square pillows there are 80x80 cm, 65x65 cm and 60x60 cm.

Percale or satin in 50x70 cm?
