Does a 40x80 pillowcase fit an 80x40 pillow?

Yes, it is exactly the same size. The order of the dimensions makes no difference.

Can I put a 40x80 pillow in a 40x60 pillowcase?

No, the pillowcase would be 20 cm too short. For a 40x80 cm pillow, choose a 40x80 cm pillowcase.

Does a 50x70 pillowcase fit a 40x80 pillow?

No. The 50x70 pillowcase is 10 cm wider but also 10 cm shorter, so the pillow does not fit properly.

Is the 40x80 pillowcase available in percale and satin?

Yes. Percale in GOTS-certified organic cotton comes in several designs, with an envelope closure. Satin in certified organic cotton comes in undyed ecru, with wood-look buttons.

Is cotton satin the same as silk?

No. Satin is a weave, not a fibre. Zizzz satin pillowcases are made of organic cotton, not silk. The satin weave is what gives the fabric its smooth surface with a subtle sheen.
