27-07-2020Tolles Produkt! Sehr angenehmes Material und die Farbkombi ist toll. Wir haben dieses Duvet für uns selbst gekauft und würden dieses auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen. Um das Produkt noch besser zu machen, könnte der Verschluss unten nochmals überdacht werden. Aktuell muss der überlappende Teil eingeklappt werden, dieser kann jedoch verrutschen, wenn die Decke stark beansprucht wird. -

A percale duvet cover wraps your duvet in tightly woven plain-weave cotton: smooth, matte and crisp to the touch. At Zizzz it comes in sizes from 135 × 200 to 240 × 260 cm, made from GOTS-certified organic cotton and always with a zip.
Choose the size of your duvet, not your mattress. For a 220 × 240 cm duvet, take a 220 × 240 cm duvet cover.
Which duvet cover size do you need?
Each size has its own page showing all available colours.

Our sizes are standard continental sizes. A UK single duvet (135 × 200 cm) fits our 135 × 200 cm cover; UK double and king duvets have different dimensions, so measure yours before ordering.
With zip closure
All our percale duvet covers close with a zip along the bottom edge. It keeps the duvet securely in place and disappears once the bed is made. Close it before washing so the cover keeps its shape and nothing gets caught in the wash.
Colours
Our percale duvet covers are two-tone and reversible: white and grey, white and beige, grey and beige. Turn the cover over and your bed has a new look. Not every size comes in every colour – you can see the choice on each size page.
Percale in brief
Percale is a tight plain weave with a 220 thread count. It feels cool, crisp and matte, lets air through and gets softer with every wash. The weave, how it compares with sateen and the GOTS certification are all explained on our percale bedding page.
Care: washing, drying, ironing
Percale can be washed at up to 60 °C. Close the zip first. Ironing is usually not needed: hang the cover up well shaken, or put it straight back on the duvet from the dryer.

Our percale duvet covers are sewn in Portugal, by a partner we know and visit regularly.

Which duvet cover size do I need?
The size of your duvet, not your mattress. A 220 × 240 cm duvet needs a 220 × 240 cm cover. If in doubt, measure your duvet.
Which sizes are available in percale?
135 × 200 and 140 × 200 cm for single duvets, 155 × 220 cm as a comfort size, 220 × 240 cm for double beds and 240 × 260 cm as an extra-large size – plus 100 × 135 and 140 × 170 cm for children's beds.
Do your covers fit UK duvet sizes?
Our sizes are standard continental sizes. A UK single duvet (135 × 200 cm) fits our 135 × 200 cm cover. UK double and king duvets have different dimensions, so check yours before ordering.
How does the duvet cover close?
With a zip – on all our percale models. Close it before washing.
Are there matching fitted sheets and pillowcases?
Yes, in the same percale: our percale fitted sheets and percale pillowcases. The fitted sheets are plain and match either side of the cover.
Can I wash percale at 60 °C?
Yes. Percale can be washed at up to 60 °C and gets softer with every wash.
Does a percale duvet cover need ironing?
Usually not. Hung up well shaken or put straight back on the duvet from the dryer, it falls smooth. Percale creases a little – that is the character of the weave.
